I walked in and was warmly greeted by staff. Dr. Sandy Diaz is amazing. I’ve been going to her for over 25 years. She is caring and personable. We caught up on the few years that I did not see her. I told her what I was concerned with, and she immediately took care of the problem. She also took the time to answer my questions regarding. other procedures that are now available in her office.
This was a follow-up visit for the skin cancer that was removed 12 days ago. Everything went smoothly. I was seen 5 minutes after I arrived, my stitches were removed quickly and easily, all my questions were answered, and it was easy to schedule a check-up in several months. Dr. Callendar and her staff are very professional and helpful!
Dr. Cavender is a wonderful doctor. She is knowledgeable and listens to our concerns.
Dr Cavendar helped me so much. A year ago my psoriasis was burning and itching and so enflamed. I had been using light therapy and creams to help me for over 15 years but it was not working and I was concerned with so much light therapy. Dr. Cavendar was so knowledgeable about the biologics and really helped me chart a new course of treatment. A year later I’m experiencing relief and am so grateful.
Today was my first visit to the California Skin Institute, and the dermatologist I saw was Dr. Patricia Cavender who was terrific. Having recently moved to the area from Virginia, I needed to find all new Doctors which can be quite overwhelming. As there is a family history of skin cancer and having had a squamous cell carcinoma myself, it was important to me to not only find an excellent dermatologist, but one who also took my insurance.
