I like going to the California Skin Institute, everyone is so nice and friendly! It’s a happy place. And most of all Dr Roy Blumenstrauch is amazing!!! He makes you feel so comfortable that even with a painful procedure you are smiling 😊 and enjoying his sense of humor! Plus he offers you coffee ☕️, it’s like visiting a good friend!! The office atmosphere in Torrance was amazing! Clean, Fast, organized and very nice staff. I received thorough care and answers that I've gone years without! If you are having any doubts, rest assured that CA Skin Institute will surely provide top tier medical care!!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I had an appointment at 9:15 am and I was helped quickly. I get called in and was assured by a nurse who asked the reason for my visit; I started to read a list of 5 things that o wanted the DOCTOR to check and she stopped me at around 3 and said this visit couldn’t be so long to take care of all issues so that I would have to make another appointment; by the way, I just paid a copay of $40. I was worried about paying for parking when I first arrived at the parking lot but they got me in and out in 30 min and they validated the first hour. So that was good. The Dr was very nice and seemed genuinely into my health. I didn’t like I had to wear a mask in the room. But she was quick.
I got to my appointment early, I was checked in before my schedule time and was seen by my doctor right away. This exceeded my expectations and I was very happy. Dr. Kwan was very thorough and personable. I'll definitely be back. I wonder why she still requires a mask now that we know they are largely inneffective. If it makes her feel more comfortable though then l don't mind.
